We have heat-shrink for all your electronic wiring needs, from butt splice connectors to electric terminals and more.
Out butt splice is an irradiated, thermally stabilized heat shrinkable, dual-wall sleeving that comes in crimp splices for 26-8 AWG wire, as well as Heat-Shrink S/D Butt Wire Connector, Nyax Wire Terminal for capping open wires, and a butt connector version of the latter, Nyax Wire Connector.
If you need to connect three wires to one terminal, then our Heat-Shrink 3-way and 4-way terminals are what you need, or you can give your wires their own terminals in either hook, ring, or block spade shapes. We also have quick-disconnect terminals in male and female endings.
If you're going to be using a lot of Butt Splice Connectors and terminals, consider buying one of our 480-piece kits, with either a metal or plastic. (Note that unlike a lot of places, we're not counting the case as one of the 480 pieces!)
Finally, for the perfect crimp before you heat shrink, don't forget our ratchet crimper or heat-shrink butt splice ratchet crimper.
A: This depends largely on your needs and the physical space you're installing them in. If you're using a bolt or post that you don't have access to an open end for, then either a hook or block spade will work. If you've ever worked with model railroads, you'll be familiar with these, where you don't have a post to make a connection, but you do have a screw-top terminal that you can slip the connector around before tightening.
Ring connectors are ideal if you do have a bolt or post and especially when you want to connect two or more wires to one terminal. Simply slip the ring(s) around the bolt and then secure the nut until it's holding the connectors tightly.
A: Yes, they are the same. We just included them on this page as a convenient reminder, as well as to include our tools, butt splice and terminal kits. Including the individual connectors with the kits also makes it easy to reorder just one color, size, or style when you're running low.
