With the spring of 2024 just around the corner, we wanted to reach out to our loyal and dedicated customers to say a few quick words about lead times.

The time between placing an online order and its delivery to your door is called lead time. Lead times allow necessary components to be shipped together and reduce shipping and receiving costs. For customers, lead times bring anticipation and expectations about your new purchases. Making sure you’re completely satisfied with your products and the speed with which they arrive has always been a priority for us. That’s why we care about our lead times and keeping them as efficient and streamlined as possible.

Unfortunately, supply chains have notoriously unpredictable sources of lead time variables. From paperwork to transportation to international waters, there’s always something gumming up the works and slowing down the process. Supplier shortages, natural disasters, and human error also increase lead times and typically don’t come with any warning. At, we constantly monitor our manufacturing and distribution processes and inventory management to make sure we’re doing all we can on our end to foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer-first strategies.

We like our production on schedule and our customers happy. Working together to mitigate risks and boost supply chain resilience makes the better business world go round, but while it’s spinning, you’re still waiting for your products to arrive. That’s frustrating, we totally understand. In fact, it’s downright annoying, and we think so, too. Lead times are inevitable, like the weather. We can’t control them, but we can try to predict when they’ll hit so we can carry an umbrella.

Enhancing supplier collaboration and increasing customer communications (like this one!) allow us to share demand, and inventory, and streamline replenishments with transparency and togetherness. We pride ourselves on being agile, responsive to changes in customer demands, and ready to tackle whatever storm the supply chain has brewing. Delivery delays are a drag. We don’t like them either. We promise we’re doing everything in our power to keep our lead times short, our communication high, and our customers armed with the latest information and all the umbrellas they might need.
