Update 4/2/20 - We are shipping product

• Web Orders Placed By 3PM EST Ship Same Day (UPS Only) *except items with lead times.

• USPS orders placed after 11AM ship next day

On Wednesday April 1, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued an executive order number 20-91, telling non-essential businesses in the entire state of Florida to close.  According to the mandate, specifically the Commercial Facilities section on page 19, we are considered an essential business, and therefore remain open for business. “Workers supporting ecommerce through distribution, warehouse, call center facilities and other essential operational support functions” That said, in order to comply and help stop the spread of COVID-19, we must suspend all walk-in customer/visits and customer pickups until further notice.  All orders must ship. In this unique time in our country and the world, I want to let you know that we are taking the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) pandemic very seriously. At the same time, we are operating as normal. Our employees are washing their hands many times during the day and they have also been told, "if you feel sick, stay home. You'll still get paid." 

Regarding BuyHeatShrink Products and Packaging: 

• While packing your order, we are trying our best to only handle the products by its packaging (i.e. spools, bags, etc)
• In the event that a product needs to be touched (heat shrink tubing by the foot, or 4-foot sticks), our packers are wearing gloves 
• We are doing everything we can to make sure that we are not adding to any potential spread of the virus

Regarding Our Supply Chain: 

Many of our products come from the USA, so we are doing our best to support USA factories and workers. We do not expect any delays in our incoming stock.  

For products that we purchase from overseas: 

• It takes days/weeks for product to arrive here, so even coming from affected areas, the virus cannot live on surfaces for as long as it takes for the products to get here

When You Receive An Order:

Please remember COVID-19 lives on cardboard for up to 24 hours. In most cases, by the time you have received your order, more than 24 hours have passed since we shipped your order. That said, it would be safest to wash your hands per CDC recommendations and dispose of the packaging. Also, our products are resistant to alcohol, so it's ok to wipe with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol or any approved wipes if you feel you need to.
